I’m not very experienced, how competitive are these events?
Our fundraising events are focused on providing a fun experience to raise money for our supported charities. We have entrants of all experience levels, ranging from “newbies” to “experts”.
What does my registration fee cover?
Your registration fee for the Top Shot Golf Tournament covers your golf, cart, and meal.
Your registration fee for the Top Shot Target Shooting Competition covers your range time, weapon rental, and ammunition.
Is it okay to sign up as a single or do I have to have a foursome?
You can sign up as a single and we will pair you up with other golfers to make a foursome. The shooting fundraiser is an individual competition, so you won’t need a foursome.
Is there an age limit to be on a team?
We ask that all team members are at least 15 years old.
What if I don’t want to shoot guns but I would like to play golf or vice versa?
You can participate in either tournament or both. We recommend both!
What time do all of these events begin?

What if I have never shot a gun before?
The staff at Cape Gun Works will have instructors on hand the day of the shooting competition and will be present in the range to assist and answer any questions you may have.
Do I need a gun permit to shoot?
No, you do not need to have your License to Carry to participate in the Veteran’s Top Shot. If you’d like to get your LTC, Cape Gun Works offers classes to do so.
Can I bring my own guns to shoot?
Cape Gun Works will be providing guns, ammunition, and eyes and ears protection.
