What if I don’t want to shoot guns but I would like to play golf or vice versa?
You can participate in either portion of the tournament or both. Your registration fee covers both days of the tournament.
What does my registration fee cover?
Your registration fee covers both days of the tournament; your ammunition for the shooting portion and for the second day your golf, cart and dinner at the banquet.
Is it okay to sign up as a single or do I have to have a foursome?
You can sign up as a single and we will pair you up with other singles to make a foursome. But if you sign up as foursome, you can save $76.
What time do all of these events begin?
The shooting competition will be on September 10th, 2019 at Cape Gun Works with tee times beginning at 4:00 p.m. You will be able to choose a tee time that suits your schedule. Tee times for shooting will run in 15 minute increments.
The golf tournament begins on September 11th, 2019 with a 9/11 Ceremony to honor those who lost their lives on that day. There will be a shotgun start for golf at 9:00 a.m.
Do I get a discount if I choose to only play in one portion of the tournament?
No, you do not receive a discount. We are trying to raise as much money as we can for each charity.
What if I have never shot a gun before?
The staff of Cape Gun Works will have instructors on hand the day of the shooting competition and will be present in the range to assist and answer any questions you may have.
Do I need a gun permit to shoot?
You do not need to have your License to Carry to participate in the Veteran’s Top Shot.
What if I do not have golf clubs but would like to golf?
Sandwich Hollows Golf Club has rental sets available. The cost for each set is $30.
Can I bring my own guns to shoot?
Cape Gun Works will be providing all guns and ammunition.
Is there an age limit to be on a team?
We ask that all team members are at least 15 years old.
